A loan comparison site collects quote requests and passes them to banks and lenders, directly or through an affiliate network, and gets paid when the partner accepts or converts them. Markmatix will record that hand-over, from the form to the revenue. None of the features on this page is available yet.
Note Markmatix will not be a marketplace for buying leads, and it is not being built for the US market. It is for the publisher who generates the enquiries.
The fields of a loan enquiry
Markmatix will provide standard field schemas per vertical, with validation and versions. Loans and mortgages will have fields such as amount, term and employment type, which matters most for Italy's cessione del quinto, a loan repaid straight from salary or pension. Each publisher will be able to add its own fields.
With a shared schema, the connector to a partner will be written once and work for every publisher that deals with it. If an enquiry carries financial data, such as income, it will be encrypted field by field with a key that belongs to the publisher. A new loan enquiry from the same email or phone within 30 days will be flagged as a duplicate.
Consent, recipient by recipient
In the consent record every tick box will become a row that is never edited: purpose, exact wording with its fingerprint, version, date, IP address, page and form. Consent to pass data on can be asked for a single recipient or for a category, such as "banks and lenders".
Before every delivery Markmatix will check the partner against the consent: if the partner is not covered, the lead will not leave. The proof will travel with the enquiry, and withdrawals and erasure requests will reach the partners that received it on their own. In the financial verticals the project rules out leads from minors: forms will check age.
Routing to partners
Each enquiry will run through a cascade of rules in priority order: vertical, area, score, daily and monthly caps, partner opening hours. It will go to the first partner that accepts it. For each vertical and partner you will choose whether the lead is exclusive or shared.
The exit could be a click through to the partner's site or a data transfer by API, signed webhook, encrypted email or SFTP, with a log of every delivery. Unsold enquiries will stay with you where consent allows, and can be offered again for 7 days.
What the score looks at, and what it does not
Each enquiry will first go through quality checks on email and phone, then fixed rules, then an AI score that explains its reasoning.
That score will assess the authenticity and quality of the data, never creditworthiness. Income, debts and health will not be among its signals. The reason is Annex III, point 5(b) of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, the AI Act: AI systems intended to evaluate the creditworthiness of natural persons or establish their credit score are high-risk, except those used to detect financial fraud. Credit decisions stay with the bank or lender.
Sources that behave oddly, such as sudden spikes, will be quarantined.
Revenue per lead
Each network will get a postback address protected by a secret, and a repeated postback will count once. Every change will be a new row: accrued, confirmed, reversed, paid. Markmatix will compare network reports with postbacks and show unpaid conversions and unexplained reversals. Revenue will be broken down by source, site, partner and period, with the reversal rate. You will be able to ask the Telegram bot what salary-backed loans earned in October.
Where the tool stops
Passing customers to banks and lenders borders on credit brokerage (OAM, in Italy). Markmatix is a collection and routing tool; where the boundaries with credit brokerage lie is for a lawyer to set. The same goes for partners' phone calls and opt-out registers such as Italy's Registro pubblico delle opposizioni: the project document lists them among the points to check with a lawyer. Insurers sit behind a different line, covered on the insurance page.
