Cookie policy

The site sets no cookies of its own. There are the technical ones of the consent panel (InMobi Choice) and, only if you accept statistics, those of Google Analytics.

The site sets no other cookies and does not use browser storage for itself. There are no accounts, logins or baskets. The waitlist and demo forms use no cookies: the check against automated submissions travels in a hidden field of the form itself. Fonts are served from our own server. There are no social buttons, embedded videos, ads or tracking pixels.

Strictly necessary cookies do not need consent: they keep the site running securely and remember your choice. Statistics cookies do, where the law requires it (Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code, and in the UK regulation 6 of PECR).

The panel is InMobi Choice, from InMobi Technology Services Pte. Ltd. (Singapore), a consent management platform registered with IAB Europe for version 2.4 of the Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF).

To load it, your browser connects to InMobi's servers (cmp.inmobi.com, api.cmp.inmobi.com, visit-server.inmobi-choice.io). InMobi therefore receives your IP address, from which it derives your country to apply the right rules, technical browser data and your choices, and it records when the panel is shown. For this data InMobi is an independent controller: details are in the privacy notice.

  • Outside the United States the panel appears on your first visit. You can accept, refuse, or choose purpose by purpose and vendor by vendor. Google Analytics loads only if you consent to TCF purpose 1 ("Store and/or access information on a device"), to one of the measurement purposes (8 or 9), to the Google vendor and, in the "Google consents" section, to Google's consent for statistics. Accepting everything gives them all at once. Until you choose, or if you refuse, Google Analytics does not start and no _ga cookie is set.
  • In the United States the "Do Not Process My Personal Information" panel opens on your first visit and statistics start straight away. Opting out of the sale or sharing of data turns them off, and so does confirming the panel without giving Google consent for statistics: the "Google consents" section starts switched off. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, they stay off automatically.

The panel lists the vendors registered in the TCF, more than a thousand, because that is the standard shared by the sites that use it. This site loads code from none of them: the only third-party service that starts after consent is Google Analytics.

We use Google Consent Mode v2 with every setting refused to begin with: they change only according to your choice. Google Signals and ad personalisation are off. If JavaScript is disabled, neither the panel nor Google Analytics starts.

How to change your choice

  • At the bottom of every page there is a "Cookie settings" button: it reopens the panel, where you can change or withdraw your consent. In the United States it opens the opt-out panel.
  • When you withdraw consent to statistics, the site deletes the _ga cookies from your browser. Data already collected stays in Google Analytics for the periods given in the privacy notice.
  • You can also clear the site's cookies and data in your browser settings: on your next visit the panel will ask you again. It does so anyway after 13 months, or sooner if the vendors or the TCF rules change.
  • Google offers a browser add-on that blocks Google Analytics on every site: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Your choice applies to the browser and device you are using. On another browser or device you will need to make it again.
